Enrollment

Sam Brown's Cosmetology & Barber Institute classes begin the 1st Tuesday of each month as long as space is available. Orientation for new students starts the first Monday of each month.

Registration Requirements

• At least 17 years of age (birth certificate or positive proof of age)
• School application (click here to download a copy of the school application)
• State board application
• High School Diploma (original), GED (original), or transcript verifying the successful completion of the 10th grade (must have at least 10 credits)
• Two passport-size photos
• $25.00 money order payable to Missouri Department of Revenue for license
• $500.00 registration fee for Cosmetology and Manicuring/ Barber. $200 registration fee for Manicuring and Instructor. (non-refundable)
• Uniform fees start at $55.00
